AGS has performed the commissioning and installation of the 8MV Paboase Underground Diesel Power plant related to the generators GE20,GE19, GE28 and GE29A on the Chirano Gold Mine (propriety of KINROSS), in Bibiani/ Ghana.
AGS-PMC 100% has started the project from the beginning February (2014) with the synchronization of the Low Voltage (415V) generators and it has finished on August (2014) with the High Voltage generators (11kV) doing the Power Plant composed by 4 Cummins Generators QSK60, 2 low voltage and 2 high voltage supplying a total of 8MVA.
Since the first moment AGS has been overtaken all the difficulties and delays in a way to reach the milestones and following the schedule such in this kind of project is quite important as a big delay means a big waste of money and AGS is always looking for the maximum profit for his clients and the success.
That´s why Kinross, once again, have trusted in AGS-PMC to develop this project from the start.
